About the yarn:
Banshee Lace is Solstice Yarns’ 100% tussah silk laceweight — 100 g / 700 m / 765 yd per skein. Tussah is the wild-silk side of the family: a slightly slubby, honey-toned strand that takes hand-dye into deep, organic tones the way cultivated mulberry never quite does. Drapey, cool to wear, and lovely held alone for a long-yardage shawl or doubled with a fingering wool for soft halo. Recommended around US 3–5 / 3.25–3.75 mm. Hand-wash cool, lay flat to dry.

About Solstice Yarns Banshee:
Solstice Yarns is the small UK hand-dye studio of Eleanor Lee, working out of a tight catalogue of pure-silk lace bases (Banshee on tussah, Morrigan on mulberry) and naming each colourway with a literary or folkloric line. Skeins are hand-dyed in small batches and shipped with a hand-signed tag — the kind of small-batch silk dyeing where every skein is a little different and the colour names read like a chapter of poetry.
